Poland - Greater Zaniemysl Area
Producing Gas Fields
The Zaniemysl gas field – located in the Greater Zaniemysl Area of approximately 175 square kilometers – was discovered in 2004 by the Zaniemysl No. 3 well. Initial analysis suggested most likely reserve estimates of 40 Bcf. Development approval was received in March 2005, and first gas was exported Oct. 12, 2006.

CalEnergy and FX Energy each hold a 24. 5 percent working interest in the Zaniemysl gas field, and Polish Oil and Gas Company holds a 51 percent working interest in the field.

As of June 20, 2010, 15 Bcf had been produced.

CalEnergy has identified a number of small satellite Rotliegendes structures within the Greater Zaniemysl Area that could be developed through the Zaniemysl facilities.
